In 2008, Jennifer Ingle started Eggceptional Donor Group after serving as an egg donor and realizing how incredibly special it is to help intended parents. 1. What inspired you to work in the fertility industry?

I was getting older and wanted to transition into something more meaningful. I loved my job as a commercial and print model. However, I wasn’t exactly making a difference in the world. I was recruited as an egg donor and got to meet the couple that chose me to help grow their family. They were wonderful people and were so appreciative. I felt both honored and humbled by the experience. I also knew lots of other young ladies like myself who were not ready to have children yet, but would love to be able to help a family in need. I used the funds I made from my donation to build my first website and database. The rest is history! We will soon be 14 years old.

2. What has been your most rewarding experience personally over your years in this work?

Starting the surrogacy side of our business has been the most rewarding for me, personally. I have always loved getting the cards and calls from parents telling me they are finally pregnant after years of struggle and heartbreak. However, it usually stopped with the cards and calls. I now get to visit babies that I helped create from start to finish. We do a lot of cycles where we help parents find both an egg donor and a surrogate. To see the process full circle and be able to hold that precious child is incredibly gratifying.

3. What is your advice for intended parents just beginning to consider surrogacy?

Call me! Lol There is a lot of information to process and things to consider. I take the time to go over every detail with you and will be in no rush. This is not a 9 to 5 kind of job and if you have questions, you’re going to get a real person and in a timely manner! I also send parents lots of information to review, so they can make the best choices for their family. I’m here to help!

4. Is there anything else you’d like to share about Eggceptional Donor Group?

God gifted me with an innate desire to take care of people. I am most fulfilled when I am doing good things for others, and I feel that being able to help bring God’s most precious gifts into the world is something I am eternally grateful that I get to do everyday.
